The Kino Book is coming along nicely!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year 2025!

The year 2024 began with a long period without contracts, which allowed me to organize crowdfunding for a Kino book project. I also began writing the manuscript at that time. Then the contracts resumed with intensity, until today.

At the beginning of 2025, I have almost two months before I start shooting again, and the first draft of the manuscript is finished! There is still a lot of work to do, since I want to include short quotes from organizers and personalities who have marked the Kino movement, in addition to making the selection of photos and designing the thematic inserts that will punctuate the book.

To refine version 2 of the manuscript and to help me make choices from the mountain of photos and paper archives, I began building a mock-up of the book. It's very exciting to finally see a tangible object begin to take shape. The mock-up will also allow Anastasia to help me more effectively, in selecting photos, communicating with other collaborators, and finding the elements that are still missing.

On the publishing side, a publisher who had expressed interest is now unreachable. We'll get back to this when the design is more advanced. But in the absence of a publisher, the book will still exist, thanks to the magic of print-on-demand platforms. More details will come. And if there's one commitment I'm making at the beginning of this year, it's to keep you more informed about the progress of our projects!

Our Home Cinema accelerators will be entitled to exclusive publications of excerpts from the model, in addition to seeing their names appear in the acknowledgments of the final book.
