Filming in Granada

We continue our series of behind-the-scenes posts from the filming of the series Avec ou sans cash , which I had the pleasure of directing last year.

This time, our destination was Granada , Nicaragua. Right from the airport, a detachment of police officers took charge of us 'for our safety'. These men and women, who were otherwise very friendly, were going to be tasked with following us from morning till night, both on our workdays and our days off!

Granada is a very beautiful, albeit rather small, Spanish colonial city located on the shores of the great Lake Nicaragua , or Cocibolca , one of the largest lakes in the world.

Granada in May (when we were there) is also intensely hot from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Perfect for a quick shoot, camera on my shoulder, hair in my hat, and a stream of sweat down my back. As you'll see in the video, at our 8th destination of the season, the fatigue is starting to set in. But my team has nerves of steel and a great sense of humor, so everything's fine!
